Thank You, Paul Reese!

Have you ever found yourself in a situation that made you say, “This is a God thing”? I have had several “God moments” in my walk with Him, but I want to share this recent one with my church family.

One morning, I approached our Rector and Senior Associate with a request: Could we please use one of our beautiful processional crosses in the Great Hall for Sunday worship? Jeff replied that if we could find a stand strong enough to secure it, we could use the smaller processional cross.

As I left his office, my mind mulling over the list of contractors I knew, who should walk out into the hall but Paul Reese, St. Philip’s very own talented musician/carpenter! “This is a God thing!” I said out loud––and he was commissioned right there. By the next Sunday, we were able to use our brass cross for our procession. Thank you, Paul!
