Prayer Request for Upcoming Mission

I welcome your prayers for my upcoming Water Mission Vision Trip to Africa beginning this Sunday, September 14. Our group will experience firsthand the transformative impact of safe water in two different regions of Tanzania. We hope to deepen relationships with Water Mission staff and fellow partners.

First, we will tour the office at Dodoma to meet and enjoy fellowship with country partner staff. Next we will travel to rural Gwandi to learn the reality of life without safe water access and see the initial stages of Water Mission intervention. Lastly we will visit Manda, where Water Mission is up and operational, to hear testimonies about the impact of the filtration systems in the village.

Since 2001, Water Mission has served more than 8 million people in more than 60 countries, building sustainable safe water solutions for people in developing countries, refugee camp,s and disaster areas. I am so eager to share with St. Philip’s upon my return what I see and learn about this valued church Home Mission firsthand in Tanzania!
