House of Prayer: October Prayer Points

“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” –Isaiah 56:7 “The prayers of the righteous avail much.” ––James 5:16a 

Answered Prayers (Thank You, Lord):
1. For all the workers and their continued faithful and excellent restoration work. 2. For the success of all activities being held in the Academy building. 3. For the success of all the outreach ministries. 4. For all the new members in our church. 

Prayer Points:
1. For wisdom for Archbishop Steve Wood and Bishop Chip Edgar as they deal with many challenges. 2. For continued blessings and protection for our clergy and their families. 3. For all construction timelines to be met. 4. For safety for the workmen as they remove scaffolding from the outside of the church. 5. For Mere Anglicanism to be well-attended. For protection and blessings upon all the speakers and extra strength for all those working on the details. 6. For good attendance for the two upcoming prayer workshops. 7. For a solution regarding the flooding issues in our city. 8. For travel mercies, safety, and good health for Jayne and Tom Gurley’s team going to Uganda. May the mission be successful. 

Prayer Points for the Nations
Ukraine: For peace between Russia and Ukraine and wisdom for those working towards it. For President Trump to be a help in the negotiations between the two countries.

Haiti: For the gangs to be stopped and a godly leader to be raised up. For the additional help needed to bring peace and necessary supplies to the people. For protection for the clinic following its relocation due to the gangs. For the safety of the doctors, nurses, and patients going back and forth from it. Iran: For the nuclear bomb facilities in Iran to never be restored again. For freedom for the people.

Israel and Gaza: For a hedge of protection around Israel and peace within the walls of Jerusalem. For the bodies of those still in Gaza to be found and returned to their families. For continued peace in Gaza as those in authority move into the next phases to restore and rebuild the land. Guide them with your wisdom and financial resources. Raise up a new governing body of people to oversee that the peace agreement holds. For mercy for all of the people misplaced during these multiple war zones. Provide the humanitarian aid that they need and protect the supplies. For healing for the hostages as they adjust to being home and back in community.

USA: For reconciliation between the House and Senate. For the President to be surrounded by people who provide wise counsel, people of prayer who are looking to you, Father, for the answers. For safety and protection for all in authority, from the President down to our local governors and officials and their families. For unity for the country, that we would be ONE nation under God. For the exposure and prosecution of those involved in human trafficking, drug trafficking, and terrorist activities. For the cartels to be broken up. For revival to sweep across the country. 

Continue to pray for our country. Have mercy, Lord.
