House of Prayer: January Prayer Points
“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” –Isaiah 56:7 “The prayers of the righteous avail much.” ––James 5:16a
Answered Prayers (Thank You, Lord):
1. For the grand opening of the church on Christmas Eve. (Lord, we give you all the glory for the magnificent work that was done.) For the permits granted. 2. For the successful fundraising for the children’s choir journey to the International Children’s Choir Festival in England this summer. 3. For our clergy and staff and all that they do. 4. For those who have applied to St. Philip's Academy. 5. For the wonderful worship being led by Chris, Paul, and Zippy. 6. For the successful Angel Tree outreach. 7. For the beautiful greenery and flower arrangements in the sanctuary for Christmas. Blessings on all the hands that prepared them. 8. For the altar guild ministry. 9. For all the children who participated in the children's Christmas pageant and showed their love for Jesus.
Prayer Points:
1. For continued safety for all of the workmen working on various parts of the property. 2. For continued blessings and protection for Bishop Edgar, our clergy, and their families. Put every anxious thought under the captivity and obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ. 3. For Mere Anglicanism to be well-attended. For protection and blessings upon all the speakers and extra strength for all those working on the details. 4. For the Academy classes to be filled and for the Holy Spirit to guide Justin in all the decisions being made. 5. For special comfort from the Holy Spirit for all those who lost a loved one in 2025. 6. For the upcoming GriefShare support group to have a good turnout.
Prayer Points for the Nations
Ukraine: For peace between Russia and Ukraine and wisdom for those working towards it. May God’s guidance prevail in every meeting. For Putin and Zelenskyy to be able to agree to a cease fire and stop the war. Jesus, in your Name we bind all power and interference from the enemy from the negotiations.
Venezuela: Thank you, Lord, that Maduro has been removed from power. We pray that the current leader may be surrounded with wise counsel and begin to restore what the enemy has stolen from the people in this nation. For all drug shipments coming and going though their system to be stopped. For the people to be encouraged.
Israel and Gaza: For the peace agreement to remain in place and to be protected. For those in authority to have unity and wisdom as they move into the next phases to restore and rebuild the land. For a hedge of protection around Israel and peace within the walls of Jerusalem. For mercy for all of the people misplaced during these multiple war zones. For the humanitarian aid that they need to be provided and the supplies protected.
Haiti: For the safety of the doctors, nurses, and patients going back and forth from the clinic we support through our World Missions Team. For a godly leader to be raised up in the upcoming election. For Holy Innocents Church, the new church being founded by Pere Vil.
USA: For reconciliation between the House and Senate and wisdom for the Supreme Court justices as they make decisions that affect the country and the people. For the president to be surrounded by people who provide wise counsel. May they be people of prayer. For safety and protection for all in authority from the president down to our local governors, officials, and their families. For the Homeland Security Agency to be successful in finding those involved in human trafficking, drug trafficking, and terrorist activities. For revival to sweep across the USA. For God’s mercy to prevail.
