How Many St. Philippians Can Fit Inside the Rectory?

My On Saturday, December 13, just over 24 hours before the temperature in Charleston plunged into the 20s, many, many St. Philippians enjoyed arguably perfect weather for the annual Advent drop-in at the rectory! And while it could be difficult to prove the maximum capacity of said rectory, experts would probably agree that the number is close to whatever the number of guests was at any given time between about 3:16 p.m. and 6:11 p.m.

Despite the fact that moving from one mingling section to the next or from the bar to the grazing table might have been a bit of a struggle, there didn’t seem to be any complaints about the annual Advent drop-in at the rectory, but there’s no surprise there! This event is always a hit––with the eggnog, the O’Dell top hat, and the heavy hors d’oeuvres (so much more exciting than the “light” variety), how could it not be?
