USA: For reconciliation between the House and Senate and that the funds be granted for the various agencies that have been blocked. For wisdom for the Supreme Court justices as they make decisions that affect the country and the people––may they govern with wisdom and in unity. For the President to be surrounded by people who provide wise counsel, people of prayer. Keep him and his family safe, Lord, and give him wisdom daily as many decisions have to be made. For safety and protection for all in authority, from the President down to our local governors and officials and their families. For safety and protection for all in authority, from the president down to our local governors and officials and their families. For the mid-term elections to vote in godly people who love this country.
South Carolina: That the upcoming election would vote in a godly governor for our state. Thanks to McMaster, who has governed well. For Mayor Cogswell and city council to have wisdom in developing traffic plans. Let us have balance in our city between those visiting and those who live here. Thank you, Lord, for the part that South Carolina played in the 250th celebration and for the St. Philippian volunteers and staff, especially Brian McGreevy, who worked so hard for our own four-day SC250 event and were inspired by God while honoring our history as we became a nation. Let us pray that just as a revival broke out in Charleston many years ago, it may move again across our state and nation, in Jesus' Name.
Continue to pray for our country. Have mercy, Lord.
