Fresh Opportunities for Mission: Why We’re Rotating Mission Partners

As your Home Missions Team, we are committed to taking the Good News of the Gospel into our community and empowering our congregation to serve our neighbors in the name of the risen Christ. We strive to be faithful stewards of the time, relationships, and resources entrusted to us. Over the years, we’ve seen God work powerfully through our ministry partnerships—lives transformed, needs met, and the love of Christ made visible in our community.

Beginning in 2026, we will implement a new rhythm for our Home Missions partnerships. Moving forward, each ministry will be eligible for a maximum of three consecutive years of partnership, followed by a one-year sabbatical.

This approach will help us:
Stay nimble and attentive to where God may be calling us next
Create space to explore new ministry opportunities in our community
Deepen engagement by focusing our energy on a small number of active partnerships

This new rhythm does not mean we value our outgoing partners any less—in fact, quite the opposite! We give thanks for their faithful and fruitful ministry, and we continue to pray God’s richest blessings on their efforts for Christ and His Kingdom! As we prepare for the fall, we invite your continued prayers: for discernment as we plan new opportunities for mission and ministry, for joy and energy among the members of our team, and for each of our partners who are making the love of Christ known in our community.
