House of Prayer: February Prayer Points
“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” –Isaiah 56:7 “The prayers of the righteous avail much.” ––James 5:16a
Answered Prayers (Thank You, Lord):
1. For the successful Mere Anglicanism Conference, the speakers, those attending, and all that the clergy and staff did to organize everything. 2. For those who've enrolled at St. Philip's Academy. 3. For the wonderful worship being led by Chris, Paul, and Zippy.
4. For the workmen and the excellent job they are doing throughout the campus. 5. For the success of the GriefShare ministry. 6. For the successful Foundations class and all those attending. 7. For the successful C.S. Lewis class and Brian’s teaching. 8. For the World Mission witnesses from Amy Wolitzer and Vinnie Rhodes.
Prayer Points:
1. For continued safety for all of the workmen working on various parts of the property. For the timelines to work out. 2. For continued blessings and protection for Bishop Edgar, our clergy, and their families. 3. For the Academy classes to be filled and for the Holy Spirit to guide Justin in all the decisions being made. 4. For Lent to be a special time of reflection for the people. 5. For extra strength for Bill Christian as he ministers to the sick and grieving. 6. For the ladies Lenten series to be a tremendous blessing to all who attend.
Prayer Points for the Nations
Ukraine: For peace between Russia and Ukraine and wisdom for those working towards it. May God’s guidance prevail in every meeting. For Putin and Zelenskyy to be able to agree to a cease fire and stop the war. For Putin to have a change of heart or remove his position of authority.
Venezuela: Thank you, Lord, that the gas distribution has brought costs down. We pray that the current leader may be surrounded with wise counsel and begin to restore what the enemy has stolen from the people in this nation. For all drug shipments coming and going though their system to be stopped. Thank you for what has successfully been stopped.
Iran: For leaders to be removed or their hearts to be changed. Bring peace in the midst of the conflict. They need divine intervention.
Haiti: For the safety of the doctors, nurses, and patients going back and forth from the clinic we support through our World Missions Team. For a godly leader to be raised up in the upcoming election. For Holy Innocents Church, the new church being founded by Pere Vil.
Israel and Gaza: For the peace agreement to remain in place and to be protected. For those in authority to have unity and wisdom as they move into the next phases to restore and rebuild the land. For a hedge of protection around Israel and peace within the walls of Jerusalem. For mercy for all of the people misplaced during these multiple war zones. For the humanitarian aid that they need to be provided and the supplies protected. For Hamas to lay down their weapons.
USA: For reconciliation between the House and Senate and wisdom for the Supreme Court justices as they make decisions that affect the country and the people. For the president to be surrounded by people who provide wise counsel. May they be people of prayer. For safety and protection for all in authority from the president down to our local governors, officials, and their families. For the Homeland Security Agency to be successful in finding those involved in human trafficking, drug trafficking, and terrorist activities. For the upcoming Board of Peace to be successful as the many countries involved work for unity and peace throughout the world. For revival to sweep across the USA. For God’s mercy to prevail.
