Cookies and Cards for Kairos!

On the afternoon of Sunday, March 1, Christine and Andrew Lloyd hosted an event for families to come together in support of Kairos Prison Ministry, which seeks to share Christ’s love and forgiveness to imprisoned people and their families.
Brooke Finland, our Children and Family Ministry liaison to the Home Missions Team, led the event, which was complete with a cookie-making station, a card-making station, and a testimonial-watching and placemat-decorating station. The children were also blessed to learn about Kairos and hear an account of the impact this ministry makes from Sandra Anderson, one of our Home Missions Team members. It was a great way for families to get their children involved in outreach and spend a little time in fellowship together. A huge thank you to all our volunteers who made this possible!
Thank you also to everyone in our parish family who baked cookies at home, wrote cards, decorated placemats, or signed up to pray. Your thoughtfulness and spreading of the Gospel will be a tremendous blessing to those participating in the upcoming Kairos Weekend!
